Window and Facade Cleaning...

Our Window and Facade cleaning division runs operations in both commercial and domestic premises, including large private properties and apartment blocks.

So Clean specialise in external building cleaning and maintaining glass, marble, granite, metals and synthetic finishes. Our expertise extends to all aspects of modern architecture: areas of difficult access can be tackled by hi-tech solutions, including the Reach & Wash water feed pole systems; hydraulic lorry and trailer mounted platforms; temporary rooftop power cradle apparatus or the more conventional abseiling techniques.

Reach and wash has revolutionised the cleaning industry with its many benefits which far outdistance traditional cleaning methods. By using 100% pure laboratory graded water which is then pumped through carbon fibre telescopic poles, we are able to access and clean windows to heights in excess of 50 feet (4 floors) from the ground. For higher buildings we are able to use rooftop power apparatus or more conventional abseiling techniques.

Unlike bottled water, rain or tap water (All of which contain mineral deposits, pollution, calcium and chemicals) our water is stripped of every element and is pure in every sense. We use reverse osmosis and heat exchange to produce 100% laboratory graded pure water on site.  Because of its purity nothing is deposited on the windows and they are always left spot free without any marks or droplets.

There are no Health and Safety risks impeding its use in any way, making it by far the safest and most cost effective method of cleaning, with excellent results.

According to HSE Proposals for Work and Height Regulations, the consultative document issued by the Health and Safety Commission states: "Avoid work at height so far as reasonably practicable to do so "therefore if it is not necessary to work at height, don't. For example, it may be possible to assemble a structure on the ground and then lift it into place using the appropriate lifting equipment. A pole-cleaning system may be used for cleaning windows so that the work can be carried out from the ground.

So Clean is a member of the National Federation of Window Cleaners. All works are undertaken and managed following industry standard safety procedures. Whether working at low or high level, our ground staff and abseiling teams provide the same highly skilled service.
