So Clean has increased its range of recycling services in response to our clients' demands. All material is destroyed within 24 hours of it reaching the facility whereupon a Certificate of Destruction is issued.

Multi Material Office Recycling A practical approach which doesn’t require items to be separated out,  all materials can be disposed of in one sack (cans, glass bottles & jars, newspapers, cardboard) and “slim Jim” bins designed specifically for office environment.
Security shredding findings from a report by The British Security Industry Association published by Experian (11/12/03) suggested direct links between companies’ relaxed approach to shredding confidential information and the cost of identity fraud in the UK, currently at a cost of £1.34bn. Our service guarantees that the whole shredding process remains confidential. Uniformed and identifiable staff are vetted in accordance with BS 7858; the data is transported in lockable containers and in accordance with BSIA regulations, once it reaches the secure premises the material is shredded to the correct particle size preventing further use. Our service can be either on a contractual or one-off basis.

Paper Recycling All paper based materials can be recycled using our collection service. Material is collected using a variety of methods from a simple plastic sack used in conjunction with our cardboard bin or by using a more robust plastic bin. Once collected the paper is baled and sent to a local paper mill in Kent who recycle it into a 100% recycled pulp. This pulp is then used to make the Evolve series of copier papers. We can offer a range of this copier paper to provide a “closed loop” recycling service. Cardboard can also be collected either flat packed or in bale form. Balers and compactors are available for larger amounts.

Compactors are available for hire for the collection of general waste. Available either with or without a bin tipping facility they are ideal in applications where a large amount of bulky waste is generated.

Hazardous items deemed hazardous in the sense that they pose a security risk. When we arrange collection, we ensure that all our vehicles are “live” tracked by satellite navigation and if security sacks are used, these are incinerated with the material. Items are incinerated at a local incinerator whereby the heat generated is recycled into power or granulated in our fine shredder. These items may include: Money-off vouchers, Scratch cards, Credit cards, ID cards.

Computer Recycling and Disposal Under the new WEEE directive all electronic items must be disposed of by the correct method. We can collect, wipe data and dispose of your I.T. equipment and give you a complete audit trail.

• Hard drive wiped using government approved software or shredded if required

• Any items that cannot be remarketed or refurbished are recycled

• Hazardous waste license supplied where required

• Certificate of destruction with full audit trail issued
