Health and Safety
Health and Safety is a major issue for the Cleaning industry. At So Clean we are rigorous in following strict Health and Safety guidelines, both on site and in the office. All our contracts have risk assessments undertaken which take place during the preliminary site-survey.

We enforce the Health & Safety Work Act, the COSHH regulations, the Electricity at Work Act and our SAFE contractor accreditation recognises our safe working practices.
We have a dedicated Health & Safety consultancy department which regularly reviews our policy and every employee is given a document outlining Health and Safety arrangements together with individual roles and responsibilities.
Health & Safety Training Plan
All personnel receive tailored Health and Safety training and site-based staff undertake a minimum of two days training as part of our induction process. Site-based managers, commercial staff and directors have all taken a four day Red Cross First Aid at Work course.
Insurance
Each operative is fully covered by insurance that is designed to protect our clients and their establishment in several ways. We have a legal liability for death or injury and loss of, or damage to, property. We have public and product liability insurance of no less than £5,000,000 and employer’s liability of no less than £10,000,000, under policies with Zurich.
